Specialization and Interests
Her main interests are:
- lean manufacturing: development of methodologies that exploit the implementation of lean techniques and tools to support the design, planning and management of the production logistics systems; quantifying the advantages related to the adoption of lean policies;
- modelling of complex systems and quantitative methods in operations management: development of discrete simulation-based methodologies, complex network theory, recurrence quantification and statistical tools; developement of operations management models coherent with capacity constraints;
- industry 4.0: investigation of the elements that influence its adoption and successful applications.
