Biography and Expertise
Luigi Vena is associate professor of Finance at LIUC - Università Carlo Cattaneo where he teaches theory of financial intermediation, corporate governance, international financial markets and financial system. From 2017 to 2020 he was post-doc research at LIUC. He received from the same university a PhD in management, finance, and legal disciplines. Among others, his research interests include topics such as macroprudential supervision of financial systems, monetary policy, corporate governance and corporate disclosure. Luigi Vena has published several papers on different journals, including the Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Cleaner Production, The Stata Journal and Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting.
