Biography and Expertise

Alessandro Creazza is an Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the School of Industrial Engineering of LIUC University and a Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics at the University of Hull, UK.

He is currently the director of the Green Transition Hub at LIUC University and the Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Management, Finance and Accounting.

Prior to this post, he was a Reader in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Hull University Business School within the Logistics Institute, where he was Director of UK Recruitment and Partnerships for the Faculty of Business Law and Politics.

He was Director of the Master's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Hull University Business School from 2013 to 2017 and contributed to the development and delivery of executive and managerial training courses at a variety of private institutions and public bodies.

He is author of more than 90 publications at international and national level, and is part of the reviewers’ board of several journals of the sector including the International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Environmental Management and Supply Chain Management: an international Journal.

Professional Experiences

He has developed a vast knowledge and experience in the field of logistics and supply chain management, combining academic qualifications with professional experience (research and consulting projects). He has attracted research funds for over 850,000 euros as principal and co-investigator. During his work experience in the United Kingdom he participated in the development of research projects funded by the British government for rebalancing the logistics flows in Great Britain, with particular reference to the growth of intermodal transport systems and multi-product distribution networks. Besides, he collaborates with the Italian Ministry of Research and Education, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and with local government agencies, developing funded research projects on logistics management also within the Relevant National Research Projects Scheme.

He is currently working on the development of research projects about the management of Cyber ​​Risks in the Supply Chain through Blockchain-based architectures and on researches concerning the application of the principles of the Circular Economy to the design of sustainable supply chains.
