Abstract
Transversal, transparent and shared information is essential for the governance of a hospital, whatever the organisational context, though in particular, within the world of health care. This article proposes the positive experience of the reorganisation of the Complex Planning and Management Control at the Hospital Authority CTO/Maria Adelaide, Turin. Through the implementation of divisional instrument panel and a shared management control process, there was found a point of contact between the Administrative Departments and Clinics. This experimental project, as well as for a practical purpose, set a management change aimed at taking charge of overall responsibility for planning and control of all the hospital facilities useful for this purpose. This project received a very positive response throughout all the hospital facilities and in addition allowed in depth analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, in order to produce appropriate improvements within a short time horizon.
