Abstract
Due to a scarce presence of empirical data related to home care, the objective of this article is to assess the Province of Varese Integrated Home Care service level in a three years period (2006-2008). Once detected the volume of the phenomena, underlying the welfare and health voucher typology, the number of patients and the kind of services delivered, a more accurate analysis of the characteristic of patiens, from different points of view, was performed. A final analysis of the services delivered divided per typology of professional involved was performend as well.
