Abstract
The contribution proposed here reports the results of a research aimed at investigating the impact on the budget, from the point of view of the Regional Health Service, of the introduction of the new organizational model developed by Lombardy Region and based on making itself responsible for all assisted patients affected by chronicle illnesses.
