Abstract
Risk management in the healthcare field is essential to ensure the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of services. This article highlights the importance of integrating a robust risk culture at all organizational levels, emphasizing the strategic role of the risk manager and the need to develop both technical and transversal competencies. Concrete experiences in Lombardy illustrate proactive and collaborative practices, while continuous training and the promotion of transparency serve as fundamental pillars for a holistic and responsible approach.
