Abstract
This article aims to reconstruct the right to be forgotten caselaw and its transformation online. Taking as a point of reference the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Costeja Gonzales vs AEPD/Google Spain, the point of interest is to measure to what extent data delisting from search engine results can influence the projection of individual personality on the Internet. Further, some reflections are offered on the changing nature of the Internet and how this may influence public debate.
