Abstract
In many cities (eg. Milan, which has completed the extension of the collection of organic waste in all households) that have adopted the system of intensive collection, the result achieved was 50-60%. These results, indicate that the system still has is the possibility of substantial improvements. ARS ambiente has developed a methodology to check as to the level of individual buildings in the situational reality of timely %RD is very varied, with the presence of best practices and case not virtous. In a city, there has been a campaign products analysis leading to evaluation of the collection of 17 individual buildings selected according to factors such as the presence of boundary offices, foreigners etc. During a whole week a team of evaluators then weighed and analyzed the waste exposed by these utilities in the timetable of exposure, and then ensures "live" characterisation of citizens. The loads were chosen to represent the different types of housing and productive in the city: the central residential users, residential users suburban markets, utilities mixed (offices and residents), etc. The goal was to determine the percentage of recycling of individual buildings as well as a specific assessment of some large producers (non-domestic users, markets).
