Abstract
In the last years, the relevant international organisations have increased their efforts in order to unify the main instruments of civil and commercial law and consequently to develop international trade. UNCITRAL (Unites Nation Commission for International Trade Law) is one of the most prominent institutions in the field. It has recently carried out many studies as to essential items such as: guarantees at first request, electronic commerce, countertrade, cross-border insolvency, assignment of receivables, project-financing; they have all led to the signature of treaties or of not less efficacious model laws or guides. This article concerns the birth, the most important as well as difficult items of the negotiations, the adopted solutions, the waives of each project.
